Her TV career began in 1993 with the award winning sixteen part Grow Your Greens, Eat Your Greens for Channel 4 and in 2001, Sophie won the Guild of Food Writers’ Cookery Journalist Award. International acclaim came with her 2004 Jacobs Creek bronze award for best hardback recipe book. Sophie was also chosen to be on the Chair of Judges for the BBC’s Food and Farming Awards for 2007. Sophie was on the panel of judges for ITVs Britain’s Best Dish, in addition to the celebrity version, as well as Gary Rhodes’ Local Food Heroes, in 2008.

Sophie has continued to write and broadcast inspiring and adventurous food ‘items’. She has written features and has a monthly column with ‘Waitrose Food Illustrated’.
